Data Policy Addendum (EU and UK Residents)
This Data Policy Addendum (the “Addendum” or “Notice”) supplements Navenu Inc. (“Navenu”)’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions (the “Policy”) and applies to Personal Information collected from Users, Venues and Curators of the Navenu App (the “Services “) in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
- Collection of Personal Information
The Policy explains how Navenu collects, uses, and shares Personal Information from Users, Venues and Curators of the App. In addition to the information set forth in the Policy, this Addendum provides further detail on the Personal Information collected from users in the EU and UK and the purposes for which it is collected and processed. When we say “Personal Information” in this Notice, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with you, directly or indirectly. Personal Information does not include information that cannot be reasonably linked to you.
Navenu collects Personal Information from users of the App in a number of ways, including:
- When users create an account or profile on the App, Navenu may collect personal data such as name, email address, other data.
- When users interact with the App, Navenu may collect Personal Information such as location data, device information, and usage data.
- Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information
Navenu processes Personal Information in accordance with the GDPR and the UK DPA. The legal basis for processing Personal Information depends on the specific context in which the data is collected and used. In all cases, Navenu may process Personal Information based on the consent of the User, Venue or Curator.
- Data Retention
Navenu retains Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in the Policy. This may include retaining Personal Information for the duration of the user’s relationship with Navenu and for a reasonable period of time thereafter for legal, tax, or reporting purposes.
- Data Transfer and Storage
Navenu stores Personal Information on servers located in the European Union, specifically on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in Europe. Navenu takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction.
- Data Subject Rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the UK DPA, users in the EU and UK have certain rights with respect to their Personal Information, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Users also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if they believe their rights have been violated. Navenu will respond to all requests in a timely and appropriate manner.
Depending on where you live and subject to certain exceptions, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Right to Know: The right to request that we disclose to you the Personal Information we collect, use, or disclose, and information about our data practices.
- Right to Request Correction: The right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you.
- Right to Request Deletion: The right to request that we delete your Personal Information that we have collected from or about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Targeted Advertising: The right to opt out of the processing of your Personal Information obtained from your activities on non-affiliated websites or online applications for the purposes of targeted advertising.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

Please note that to protect your information and the integrity of our products, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. In some cases, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identity, such as a government issued ID.

This Addendum is effective as of January 15, 2023 and replaces any prior versions. Navenu reserves the right to update this Addendum at any time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
